Functions and Applications: Blood Pressure Formula clears
liver heat, settles repleted liver yang, and reduces internal wind.
It is primarily used to treat atherosclerosis, and will lower high
cholesterol levels in the blood. It is indicated in cases of hypertension,
especially in its early stages, when the blood vessels are not yet
very hard (i.e., the atherosclerosis is not yet severe). In such cases,
the high blood pressure will not yet have affected the function of
the heart, brain, or kidney. Reduction in blood pressure should be
observed within two weeks of treatment, and such symptoms as dizziness,
headache, tinnititis, and irritability will all improve during that
time.
Directions: Take 4 tablets 3 times a day.
